Last Scene Films
Last Scene Films is a Riyadh-based production house specialized in producing independent arthouse features, documentaries, and short films. Its debut feature Last Visit by Abdulmohsen Aldhabaan is the first Arab film selected at East of the West Competition in KVIFF & the Jury Award winner at Marrakech International Film Festival.
Last Scene Films produced award-winning shorts such as Silah by Hussam Alhulwah, the winner of Best Director Award at the Saudi Film Festival, and Ertidad by Mohammed Alhamoud, the first Saudi short selected in the International Competition of Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
The Team
Mohammed Alhamoud co-founded the Talashi Film collective in 2008 before obtaining an MFA in Film from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He wrote & directed a few short films including SHADOW (2009), and ERTIDAD (2019) which was selected for the International Competition of Clermont-Ferrand.
Before founding Last Scene Films, Alhamoud produced a few short films and documentaries including the award-winning short documentary HAJWALAH (2015) by Rana Jarbou and the BBC production series OUR WORLD (2016).

Mohammed Alhamoud
Wael Abumansour began his career as a journalist in various renowned journalistic institutions, such as Al-Watan, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, and AFP before making his first short documentary The Qanadil of Uncle Salem (2013). He helped to establish various specialized publishing collaterals, in addition to setting up companies in the field of media and content creation.
He wrote, directed and produced documentaries & shorts including Mozmarji (2015). In 2020, Wael completed his first feature "Madinat Almalahi" which premiered at the Red Sea International film festival.
